about

A&N Fishback Acres is a family business. Nathan has been involved with agriculture and farming since he was a young child, and is no rookie when it comes to agriculture. Amanda grew up riding and training horses with her mom in Georgia, and was inspired to join the agricultural world in order to not only work alongside her husband Nathan, but to fulfill her love for rural country and farm life. With this experience, she is also able to use her financial and nursing background to both run the A&N Fishback Acres office and to build trusted relationships with clients.

A&N Fishback acres formed a business in 2021 when Nathan married Amanda, and they look forward to the future together and raising their family on the farm. A&N Fishback Acres' goal is to create a solid farming operation that can be passed on to the next generation.

We want to make farming as simple as it can be by farming efficiently and accurately. We like to buy and work with local businesses as much as we can. We strive for and value good solid relationships with everyone from seed dealers to landowners by partnering with other landowners in Southeast Iowa. We provide land rental, custom farming, and management services working with corn, soybeans, and other row crops.

testimonials

Our farming operation has had the pleasure of working with Nathan Fishback for many years. 10 years ago, rather than upgrading from a worn out planter, we hired Nathan Fishback to plant our soybeans. We wanted good, modern, well cared for equipment, and good operators! It has also been very important to us to get planted in a timely manner! We also really like the move to the 15 inch rows for the added weed control benefit! Year after year, they get our beans planted timely and their service well exceeds our expectations!

Rick Fulton (Fulton Farms)

Nathan Fishback farmed my land many years. I had a good relationship with him. He was always square with me. He has a way of getting along with people and has the skill to get the potential out of the land. He got the crops in and out, whatever the challenge.

Richard Stout

Nathan was our tenant several years. He was honest and hard working. He was a great help with the government paperwork. I would recommend him to any landowners.
